oh dude totaly! im not super familiar with portland but i know the pearl district (NW?), and the loyd center areas (NE?) quite well. i also spend some time at guardian games but not alot.

alot of time im at the lloyd center areas im with as we hang out and draw or i sculpt haha also since its fareless square anywere in that area is free game ^_^ and there is a huge park at the double tree also one day it would be cool to go to the zoo and draw... but ive only been there once >.< do you go to the lloyd center plaza often? i talked to raevell and she was excited. we can all draw or something ^_^

I oft wonder how many of us are just where we're at because that's where life has placed us. In the end, making the most of your opportunities where you are is a talent. And if it leads you to another home, so much the better. I wish you lots of luck on getting your freelancing running to speed, and all the success you can handle. As for storm activity, why on earth would you want that? I'm in Southern Missouri... along the edges of tornado alley. And the thunderstorms are always a hazard to my computer's life and limb. I sure like the country here, but the atmosphere is a little violent.
