Old digital painting from a year and a half ago. My first real attempt at it, based on a sketch of Jarovin from several sketchbooks ago.

It's quite outdated - if I were to paint him again, and I should, I would take a completely different approach to the character. This representation comes off as extremely cliché.

Needless to say, if the Locks are masters of the universe, then their Emperor is most certainly the master of all Locks. Enlightened and in communion with God, in spiritual terms he could easily be considered one of the higher ranking angels. I'm slowly putting a profile to this lovely guy, so watch out you people who watch me on LJ. More boring descriptions up ahead.

er, NO, this is so not cliche. Its a godamn MASTERPIECE! wow... puts all my royal characters to shame, they look like peasants compared to this guy :D he is the supreme awesome hotness of locks :D

Awesome, the swirling galaxy really catches the eye, and all the billowing cloth is amazing and extremely well done. His adornments have an Egyptian style to them. :}

im really impressed with this, but the only thing i can really say is that where the blacks meet black its a little hard to tell where one shape ends and another starts *ie. both hands, and where the neck meets the face* maybe next digipainting you could work on this a little more

Thanks. Even though it's neither Alien nor Anubis, nor a retarded cross between the two, nor even remotely related, and could completely crush both simultaniously.
