From Friday, I needed something silly in my life. Also Jeih!snake, because snakes are great and Jeih plays the part well.
__ On a more serious note, Jeih’s trauma messes with the Locks’ normal Bonding process so until his Bond with Kyrin is solidified he gets to experience a good portion of the anxiety and pain that Locks who lose their Bonded Companions experience. Most the time he winds up curled up in a ball of misery somewhere. At least around Aryian he can draw on the peace and calm that emanate through the other Lock from Jarovin and he can doze through the brunt of it, hence his tendency to seek Aryian out immediately when Kyrin leaves for her runs. Aryian is usually very understanding of the situation but for everyone else it’s difficult. In their eyes, Jeih’s just being a pissy, obnoxious jerk per usual.

Aaand look, other characters. Jerry, Jates (Jaten Wilks), Scott, & Deard. Scott’s the lead of the Expedition Team, Jerry’s his apprentice if you will, and Jates and Deard are research (lab) team leads from the company. They are semi-bosses for Scott. These four are human.
This does make me think of my Columbian Red Tail (although he's a lot bigger, about 7 1/2 feet). Especially the first panel "I thought we were cool..." and the second-to-last. Love how they look like they "flow". My boyfriend always jokes that my reptiles are my "relatives", I suspect this is a bit what that would be like. ^_^ Beautiful work as always.
Unfortunately I have no idea what is going on. lol
What is this about?
But poor thing, being separated from a bonded one is always painful.
