A roughed-out, arguably inconsequential sequence between a few of my Locks for practice. It's much, much later in the story line, a while after Wintering for those of you who are familiar with that.
Anyway, bunch of stuff still needs fixing but I thought why not.
the first panel needs some work other than that i say they look fine. beautiful as always. not trying to be mean by my criticizing bit just that the front legs look funny to me and seem to need more practice or more time put into them and not a quick sketch but as i said before wonderful work as always.
I love it so much! I am a HUGE fan of sketchy looking things like this...wonderful and the creature ideas and how they take on many forms are wonderful!
Hey Allison! Your sequence here reminded me a little of Wolf's Rain. Have you ever seen any of that anime? There are many sequences where the main characters (who are supernatural wolves) converse with one another as humans, but when we as the viewer see them as they are viewed by everyone else, they are then shown as wolves, their true shape.
I'm mentioning it to you because this anime flips between the forms in a way that is really interesting. It at first seems strange and abrupt but once the viewer understands what's happening it makes sense. It might inspire you.
And I love this little strip. I took the time to read your tumblr about how your characters exist in their world and I'm glad I did. A lot of it I could kind of infer but now I feel as if many blanks were filled in.
Can't wait to see more.
