This was one of the first pieces that attracted my attention to your work in general. It is interesting to see how your art has evolved over the course of your submissions. Your style has defnitely evolved and matured, I think.
My favorite part about this piece is the tip of the tongue, which looks about ready to latch onto someone's head before the maw gets to it :)

sometimes the best is simple. i think this backgorund is good for this picture, cuz it dosen't distract from the character's detail...oh the detail!!! *drools*

I really do love this. I have always had a soft spot in my heart for monsters, and this one deserves a special place in the sub-cockle area. The attention to detail is really tasty, and while the light source isn't defined, that doesn't take away from this picture. Instead, it prods the observer to fill in the missing details. This draws emotion from the observer! Great job!
