The contrast between that amazing looking beast and the crazy awesome fire is absolutely fantastic. I love how his cheeks almost look transparent against the fire! Great colouring, as usual, and as said, I too wish to be as talented as you someday!
This is probably one of your best works, I must say.
The lava coming off of the wolf is very well done, and the pose and composition just reeks of power.
One day I hope to match your skill, for that would be a great accomplishment.
Please keep up the great artwork!
Pretty hardcore picture, I really can't think of it in any other capacity it just seems to go that way. I see a demon wolf throwing up lava and then look to find that he's split open and pouring out more lava. "Holy crap, that's metal" was the first thing in my head when I saw it.
I see it's a dream sequence though so maybe it has more meaning to it to the person that dreamt it... or maybe they just dreamt something really cool. Either way it's an awesome (in the classical sense of the word) picture.
Nngh, it turned out so good. I'm glad you went with an upward expansion- it definitely gives a better gaping alone-ness or single-ness to the image than the horizontal expansion did. And the magma, WOW! I was reading comments and saw you say it was all painted... I'm always so amazed when you (and others) can get things to glow with heat with just different colors. I also like that the "points" of the mountains or rock formations in the background point back toward him now- that really brings the pic together and keeps it whole. Great job, wow! *wiggles* I'm glad she liked it!
That's wonderfully colored. The fire from the mouth was pretty awesome in itself...though from the thumbnail I had no idea there was lava leaking? from their stomach lol. Unique if not somewhat freaky. Nice job
