Hey all, big changes ahead!

Happy to say 2016 is ending on a much more positive note than it began, at least for the moment.
Finishing up some owed freelance this weekend and then am working through most of my Round 2 commissions next week. I do apologize for the delay.

I picked up a new full time job and will be shifting focus to personal work again once Round 2 commission are completed. I am extremely excited to get back to the drawing board. I realized the other day I'll have been worldbuilding for 20 years next spring... I need more than scraps to show for it!

Hoping this fall season has treated you all well, and thank you always for the kind comments and support. <3

Hey Beast, just found your work. Your sketches look like all my school notebooks, ever. (Your finished work is light years better than mine tho!) I'm most proud of a wheel-shaped creature I designed, native to a world with ancient seas that dried into giant salt flats. They get around by rolling, shifting their weight to propel themselves. Head in the middle, three "spokes" hold the hearts and lungs, so the faster it rolls, the faster its heart/respiration gets. My art teacher didn't know what to do with me!

Hey there- Just signing back in after an absence of far too long. Just wanted to say that having seen your beginnings with prismas and transitioning into your first tablet, I am beyond blown away by your progress over the years. Congratulations on getting into a career that fosters your abilities and pushing them the way you do. Your art continues to evolve. Your lockjaws have come a far way from their initial beginnings! Your creature creation, as always, is just plain stunning.

Keep up the good work, Ms. Theus.

Excuse me but could anyone suggest a digital art program I'm using my iPad and it's very limited so if anyone knows one that's not outrageously expensive and is of good quality could you please tell me thanks

Depends on what you would like to do with it :) For drawing I heard that Krita is supposed to be pretty good but I only tried it once. I'm using Gimp 2.8 and I'm really happy with it. They're both free.

I use Photoshop CC. $10/month subscription is pretty cheap.

I've just come across your site and all I can say is wow!
I love sci-fi fantasy art. And like you I'm into world building although
I'm not much of an artist.

GOD bless
